
Artists and makers: Justyna Medon - Addicted to Patterns
Justyna Medon is a wallpaper designer, printmaker, researcher and conservator based in Wales.
She specialises in creating luxurious, hand-illustrated and hand-printed wallpapers and textiles inspired by vintage wallpapers, archival prints and her love of nature.
Addicted to Patterns studio was founded in 2015 in Bristol and recently relocated to Garw Valley in Wales where artisan wall hangings are crafted to commission and in limited editions, honouring traditional printing techniques.
Justyna’s passion for hand-printed wallpapers lead her to study for a postgraduate degree in Wallpaper Conservation. In 2022 she was awarded a scholarship in Wallpaper Design and Conservation from the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust and in 2023 she was the recipient of the WHS Merryl Huxtable Bursary.
Since 2023 Justyna has worked in the field of wallpaper conservation, specialising in wallpaper facsimile printing for historic buildings using
both digital and traditional printing techniques.
